1967. Left Ernie Wilkinson C/E and right Authur Thompson Engineer Superintendent.

This photo was taken just after the Chief Engineer had told Mr Thompson that three main engine exhaust valves were beyond repair.

Three suoerintendents on the agent's ferry   March 1971. Gordon Walker Radio superintendent, Eric Poingdestre engineer superintendent, and Alec Osborne engineer superintendent on the ferry boat bound for the Australian City at Yokohama anchorage with spare parts. Snow fell in Yokohama that morning.
