Accommodation and bridge housing

All the sections for the accommodation block were made up some way away from the building dock, and were then transported to the top of the building dock where they could be assembled together using the 600 ton crane. All large items like the galley stoves are added at this time.

This is a close up of the vehicle used to move these sections and it has 80 wheels and can transport 365 tons.

These photos were taken as the vessel was leaving the building dock. At this time the accommodation block is not welded to the deck. There is a platform near the X marked on the funnel but this is only there to land spare parts during the construction.

This is inside the wheelhouse shortly after the vessel was at the fitting out dock.
The console was in place when the vessel undocked from the building dock.
