Ready to leave the building dock.

These photos show the vessel when the building dock is to be flooded and the vessel towed around to the fitting out dock. This always happened on a Friday so the next ship could be started on the Monday. All the work in this dock was completed in 39 days.

Grids on sea suction boxes  

Above photo shows the grids on the sea suction boxes. The bolts are locked with copper wire.

The photo on the right is an underneath view of the rudder showing welded inspection door and plug forward and aft.
