| (2) The ship was launched on 17th.October 1921, by Mrs Gwendoline Moore, the wife of James Charles Moore, a director of the St.Just Steamship Company. Their grandaughter, Joan E Moore has recently given us a photograph of the silver plaque that was presented to her grandmother by Ropners at the time of the launch. | |
