Donald McMurdo

I was in Reardon Smiths as a deck cadet from 1972-1976. I then worked for Vickers Oceanics 1977, I then joined Geest line from 1977 -1980. I then went to the north sea as mate from 1981-1987. I then ran a pub in gt Yarmouth.

I then went on to cross channel ferries which included the sea cats and hovercraft. I am now master on the dredger and tugs in port of Dover

My son followed me and is currently 2nd officer with foreland shipping

February 2012.
