Sad, indeed. We have also just heard from Bryan Boyer through Paul Bidmead about the sudden passing of Barry Everett. On behalf of all of us here at Reardon Smith Ships, our sincere condolences go out to Barry's family and close ones. Mike Jones/Eric Poingdestre on behalf of Reardon Smith Ships.

Very saddened to hear of Barry's premature crossing of the bar. Barry was the very first and last R/O I ever handed over to (Vancouver City - 71 & Skeena - 1985). On both these ships I also sailed with him, firstly for him to get his six months qualifying time in and latterly to learn the intricacies of Satcom.
My deepest condolences to his family for their loss. David Thomson.

It is with great sadness we hear of Barry's passing, a great friend for many years, our condolences to his family. Marian & Reg Smith.

I am deeply saddened to read that Barry has crossed th bar. My respects to Barry's family. Gordon Walker.

Very sad news regarding Barry Everett, sailed with him on the Victoria City in 1974 the late Robin Stuart's first trip as Master, as mentioned he was a good shipmate. Wally Hutchings.
