Kevin Cribbin here - sometimes better known as Murph in my 13+ years with Smiths! Great to see some familiar names in the postings. Very sorry to hear about Dave Mockett and very shocked to learn of the background. I sailed as a cadet with Dave as 2/O on the Atlantic City in 1969. We were on the Goa - Japan iron ore run apart from two or three runs to Port Hedland during the monsoon season in India. Cynthia accompanied Dave on the trip and I still remember runs ashore to the markets and to the beach in Goa and to the beach in Panjim with them. I also met them afterwards when I was in college in Plymouth and they invited me out to their house a couple of times for dinner. He was a good guy and they were a great couple.
