Bill Stephens
S.H.W. Stephens (Bill or Will), Bill sadly passed away earlier this year leaving a wife and three children. He had always remained in Cornwall living near St Agnes.
After leaving RSL Bill trained as a deep sea diver and eventually did saturation diving. He was a keen surfer, mountain climber, parachutist and much more. Bill served on the Fresno and a few others I can not remember. Paul Bidmead.
Bill also sailed on the Cornish City from July 1971 to January 1972. Although I lived in Cornwall I lost touch with him after 1972 when I was to buy his MGA from him (that sadly never happened). I see from his obituary that his health declined very quickly and he crossed the bar on 14th February this year. RIP Bill. David Ricketts.
