I did my apprenticeship with and served up to 3rd Mate with RSL before moving on to tankers. Spilt my time now between London and Singapore, mainly working as an arbitrator and expert. On the way to a chemical tanker this morning I asked the Chinese superintendent if he could get me an update on the Prince Rupert City (my second trip to sea), seeing as it was last recorded as being under Chinese ownership. The good news is he found it. Still Panama flag. Still apparantely trading. Current position is off Ghana. Will try and post the map shortly...
