Richard Sumner
I am sad to advise that Ric Sumner passed away on 7th July 2019 after a battle with cancer. I sailed with Ric as an apprentice on 'Devon City' in 1962 and was fortunate to catch up with him on a few occasions when visiting the UK long after we had both retired . Most recently we enjoyed lunch together with wives at the Guernsey Yacht club in late May this year. Ric was a good shipmate and I have sent my condolences to his wife Ann. Ralph Woodward.
