Took a look at the Reardon Smith web site while idling away some time. Came upon some interesting stuff from the past. I was a junior engineer on the Atlantic City when you joined part way through her second voyage. Jack Barnes was the second engineer at the time. I did just one more trip on the Cardiff City 1968 /69 before returning shoreside, wrong decision. You may remember a guy by the name of Rodney Fawkes from Newport. He sailed 4th engineer on the Atlantic city and also again on the Cardiff City. Lost his dad shortly into that trip and was flown home.
